App Icon

Your app will need to have an icon that will appear on the home screen. You will create your icon in Adobe Illustrator and export it to PNG in all the various required sizes. For the icon assignment, you will turn in your Adobe Illustrator file and all the various PNG files.

Final Project

For the final project, you will also need to insert the icons into your project. In the project navigator find Assets.xcassets then find Appicon. There are about 18-20 slots for icons, but some of them are the same size, so you need about 13-14 different sizes of icon. You must have icons in all the correct sizes and they must all be in the correct slot.

If the base size of the icon is 20pt, and the multiplier is 2x, then you need to put a 40px icon in that slot.

If the base size of the icon is 20pt, and the multiplier is 3x, then you need to put a 60px icon in that slot.

If the base size of the icon is 29pt, and the multiplier is 2x, then you need to put a 58px icon in that slot.
