Submitting your app to the Apple App Store

There are two ways you could submit your app. You could sign up for a paid developer account, which costs $99 (per year). Or, you could let me submit your app through SVCTE's account.

Disclaimer: The administrator who signed up the school for a paid developer account is no longer at the school, so I need to catch up with him over the Summer to make sure we are paid up! 😯

Submitting iOS Apps to the App Store

Summary:
  • Build with Xcode 10.2 (which we don't even have in the classroom, so we'll have to install it on one of the computers for this purpose)
  • Make screen shots. I will upload them if you want to use the school's account.
  • Create a product page.
  • Beta test.
  • Submit the app for review.

The Product Page

Summary:
  • Product name
  • Icon
  • Subtitle
  • App Previews (short video with no audio)
  • Screen shots
  • Description
  • Keywords
  • Primary and secondary category
